I am so excited to share this post with you. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Eggloo, a dessert spot with two NYC locations. I visited their East Village location which is at 147 Avenue A New York, New York 10009. They also have a location in Chinatown, which is at 60 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10013.
Instagram worthy treats are definitely a trend lately and you definitely don’t want to miss out on Eggloo’s egg waffle cones with ice cream! They offer bubble teas, egg waffle sundaes and cones and cookie sandwiches. They have been featured on Buzzfeed and each of their desserts looks like a piece of art.
I was thrilled to learn that vegans can indulge in some of their sweet treats as well! They offer two different vegan waffle flavors, a handful of vegan toppings and their chocolate drizzle is vegan! The good news doesn’t stop there; Eggloo’s bubble teas are also vegan-friendly. They use natural ingredients and real tea leaves to brew their teas. They are also gluten-free if you have that dietary restriction!
Now let’s talk more about the goods! I ordered the chocolate waffle with cookies and cream ice cream, chocolate drizzle, diced almonds and coconut flakes- completely vegan and extraordinarily delicious. I don’t think I have ever tasted a dessert this good!!
I couldn’t wait to dig in! The chocolate waffle was decadent and tasted just like an airy brownie! The ice cream was really creamy and better than any other vegan ice cream I’ve tasted and the almonds and coconut were just icing on the cake (or waffle ice cream cone). This ended up being my lunch for today because it was so filling but I have zero regrets.
You need to try one of these desserts… and find someone that looks at you the way I look at Eggloo’s tasty treats!! I definitely recommend that you put this on your list of places to visit during your next visit to NYC and if you live here, you should basically live here.
The atmosphere is definitely IG worthy so you can use your IG feed as an excuse to indulge more often! I mean look at this gorgeous creation… I can’t even begin to compete with its beauty! They also have ice cream roses where they shape your ice cream in the shape of a rose… how cool is that?!
After you get your treat, you can take a walk and talk some more photos with all of the murals in the area. I loved the colors in this graffiti piece that was around the corner from Eggloo on E 9th St. There was a huge western inspired mural right next to it with cow skulls and all. Taking photos in front of murals look less awkward when you have a delicious dessert in your hand… so take advantage!
I hope you enjoyed reading about Eggloo and you should probably eat something in the meantime until you get to check them out because I know you were drooling as you read this. I admit I drooled a little as I wrote it. Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful day!
In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
Until next time,
